Check Out This 90's Hip-Hop Themed Vegan Pizza Spot That Just Opened Up!

There's a new vegan pizza spot that just opened up on Melrose Avenue and it's brought to you by the people behind Monty's Good Burger, Nic's on Beverly and 800 Degrees Pizza. The spot is called Forever Pie and when you walk into the restaurant, you'll instantly feel the 90's hip-hop vibes with a nightclub like atmosphere.

“Forever Pie was born out of those memories of that summer in ’91 when hip-hop was just starting to explode,” says Adler. “I had an amazing group of friends and we somehow always ended up at the Rainbow Bar and Grill at the end of the night and had so much late-night pizza. It was a special time in my life.”

Along the walls in Forever Pie, artist Jax painted a mural that has the style of the LA and New York graffiti scene during the 80's and 90's. How dope is that! The interior is dimly lit to highlight the neon purple that reflects off the dark leather booths as you can hear Hip-Hop music blasting throughout the restaurant. The pizza is a NY style, thin-crust pizza and is cooked in a 1960's stone-floor oven. Now for the dough, they use filtered water, high-protein flour and age it for a couple days. Some of the food items you can expect at Forever Pie include: pepperoni pizza made with Beyond Meat, Korean BBQ pizza Cheeseburger pizza, ziti with Bolognese, Italian chopped and Caesar salads.
