Leslie Jones Is Leaving 'Saturday Night Live' After 5 Seasons

News for Saturday Night Live’s 45th season started to roll out this week, including the premiere date on September 28 and a lineup of hosts and musical guests including Taylor Swift, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Billie Eilish, Eddie Murphy, and more.

But today, news broke that Leslie Jones will not return to the show this fall for season 45. BOO!

Since 2014, Jones has twice been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards and is an Emmy nominee again this year for co-writing the lyrics to “Upper East Side,” a song featured in SNL‘s 44th season.

We'll miss you, Leslie! Make sure you catch her new Netflix special that will be coming!
