A Harry Potter-Inspired Cafe Is Now Open In Downtown LA

Potterheads have a new place to check out in downtown Los Angeles, a cafe completely inspired by Harry Potter!

Nimbus Coffee opened last week and is billed as “a place for wizards, witches, and muggles alike."

The cafe is not an official Harry Potter property, it's more of an homage to J.K. Rowling’s iconic series. There’s a wall of wands and plenty of vintage books and trunks, along with some quirky portraits of real-life celebrities made over as wizards and witches.

The baristas can make pastries, coffees, magical shakes like "blueberry polyjuice" and "giggle water" which infuse spices, herbs, bubbles and fruit.

The cafe is owned by an L.A. born mother-daughter team.

Nimbus is open Tuesday through Sunday and will have an official grand opening in about a month.
