California Officially Declares May 4 'Star Wars Day'

It's official!

The California Legislature voted Thursday, May 2nd to declare May 4th "Star Wars Day" in recognition of Star Wars Land opening at Disneyland later this month.

 

The resolution by Democratic Assemblyman Tom Daly says it's the largest single-site expansion in the park's history and could generate $14 million in tax revenue for the city of Anaheim annually.

Star Wars Land at Disneyland park opens on May 31st by reservation only for the first three weeks of opening.
