Disneyland Will Give Out Bathroom Passes At 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge'

I think it's safe to say that there will be very long lines for the rides at Disneyland's new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge park. However, it didn't even occur to me what would happen if you got hit with an urge to use the restroom while in those very long lines.

Thankfully, I don't work for Disney and the great minds that DO work there took this into account.

The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride will open on May 31st and the resort is releasing a bathroom pass for visitors who find themselves in what is anticipated to be a very long wait to experience the ride.

The bathroom pass will allow riders to leave the line, head to the restroom, and then re-enter through the FastPass line where they’ll wait in a holding area for the rest of their party.

The pass is a lanyard with the Queue Re-Entry Pass attached and will be given to the rider by a Disney employee. It will be available to customers in the Smugglers Run line when it opens and at the Rise of the Resistance queue when the second Galaxy’s Edge attraction debuts later this year.

Disneyland Resort will also provide entertainment both in-person and through their mobile app to make guests’ experience in line more pleasant, because you know those long lines can be pretty miserable!

There will be character performances, trivia conducted by a cast member, and games that are accessible on mobile phones- all be Star Wars themed.

Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase while guests are waiting.
