Right now, there seems to be a battle of the superhero movies. Avengers: Infinity Warfare and Deadpool 2 will be going go head-to-head in theaters come this May.
Avengers moved its premiere date up a week, hoping to get a leg up on the competition, but Deadpool has responded by opening up pop-up bars on both sides of the country.
According to FoodBeast, Mike's Harder and Fox are partnering up to open two pop-up versions of Sister Margaret's School for Wayward Girls, which happens to be the famous bar from the movie. The bars will be open for a very limited time, hence the name "pop-up." One of them will be in in Brooklyn's Alligator Lounge between April 26-28, and then westcoasters will get their turn May 10-12 when it comes to Los Angeles's Slipper Clutch.
FoodBeast says that "the fourth wall transmutation runs from 7-11:30 pm each night and includes pool tables, a betting "dead pool" like the one from the recent Deadpool reboot, exclusive flavors of Mike's Harder based on the film, and the chance to see some real-life mercs." Plus, if you live in L.A., the west coast location will serve Deadpool's famous chimichangas.
