Jonathan Cheban Has Helped Create Gold-Covered Chicken Wings

What could be better than chicken wings? Well, I'm glad you asked. How about GOLD chicken wings?!

If you're looking for an upscale version of this messy appetizer, The Ainsworth and Jonathan Cheban (a.k.a. Foodgōd) have got you covered.

The fancy bar and Kim Kardashian's best friend have partnered to produce gold-covered chicken wings, according to Food&Wine

The wings are made by first "being soaked in a coconut butter, chipotle, and honey batter for 24 hours, before being fried and finished off with a dusting of gold flakes." The wings are served with a side of blue cheese for dipping, but do you really want to dip such works of art in blue cheese?

The wings are appropriately named the Foodgōd 24 Karat Wings, and they're pretty pricey.

You can get 10 of these masterpieces for $30, 20 for $60, OR if you really want to be a baller, you can get 50 wings and a bottle of Champagne Armand de Brignac for $1,000.

This golden chicken will officially cross the road and make it onto the menu come May 1st at the Chelsea and East Village restaurants, and then make its way to the other locations after that.

We're on our way.
