This fall, Universal City will be transformed into Hawkins, Indiana.
Universal Studios has announced that Stranger Things will be the headlining maze at this year's Halloween Horror Nights, according to Entertainment Weekly.
USA Today said that the maze will be based on the first season of the hit Netflix show and "will include the predatory Demogorgon and the Upside Down, an alternate dimension, along with characters and locations from Hawkins, Indiana"
The show's creators Matt and Ross Duffer and executive producer Shawn Levy will be working with the amusement park to make the experience as realistic to the show as possible.
Not only is this such a good idea, but it also seems like perfect timing. Last year, the second season of Stranger Things premiered on October 27th, just a few days before Halloween. If Season 3 is on the same production schedule as its predecessor than we can expect a new season premiere around the same time as the Hollywood Horror Nights Stranger Things cameo.
Universal Hollywood Horror Nights will kick off on September 14th at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort.
Needless to say, I am freaking out.
