Today has officially been declared "Coco Day in L.A.," according to KTLA

Los Angeles council member Gil Cedillo announced the decision today to honor the Pixar film with its very own day.

In attendance were Lee Unkrich, the film’s director, Anthony Gonzelez, the voice of Miguel, along with Gabriel Iglesias and Renee Victor.

Mariachi Divas performed two of the film's songs at the event, including “Remember Me,” which is nominated for an Academy Award. (I haven't stopped singing that song in my car.)

If you haven't seen it yet, you can grab it on Digital and Blu-Ray today!

The movie is nominated for "Best Animated Feature Film" at this Sunday's Academy Awards and I'm going to be rooting so hard for them!

What an honor! Celebrating the declaration of #CocoDay in Los Angeles with Director @leeunkrich, Producer @stardar16, voice of Miguel @anthonygonzalez_official and the wonderful cast! Check out our story for highlights from the day! #pixarcoco
