Beyoncé is reportedly joining Vice President Kamala Harris for a public appearance at her campaign rally in Houston, the singer's hometown.

According to the Washington Post, a source familiar with the matter said Bey would appear with the vice president at her Houston campaign rally on Friday (October 25).

Beyoncé's "Freedom" has been used as the backdrop for Harris' campaign since she replaced President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential race. Since Bey's team signed off on the Harris campaign using her song, an appearance with the pair has been highly anticipated.

Rumors swirled that the singer would make a surprise appearance and performance at the Democratic National Convention in August. However, Beyoncé's team shut down speculation, saying she was never scheduled to appear.

Though Bey hasn't explicitly endorsed Harris yet, her mother, Tina Knowles, expressed her support for the vice president's bid shortly after Biden dropped out of the race.

“New, Youthful, Sharp, energy !!!!” Knowles previously wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and Harris. “Putting personal Ego, power, and fame aside. That is the definition of a great leader, Thank you, President Biden for your service and your leadership. Go Vice President Kamala Harris for President. Let’s Go."

It's unclear whether Friday's appearance will include a performance from Bey.
