Julia Fox is not holding back when it comes to talking about her "regret" over her past relationship with Kanye West.
The 34-year-old Uncut Gems star opened up about her romance with the 47-year-old rapper in a new interview with The Times, telling the outlet that she "[regrets] that relationship so much." The pair briefly dated in 2022 after meeting on New Year's Eve in 2021 amid Ye's divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, per People. She reportedly went on to reference their relationship in her 2023 memoir Down the Drain, in which she referred to him as "the artist."
"I hate it! It was only a few weeks but enough to last me a lifetime," she said. "I was in probably the most uncomfortable position in my life and that's saying a lot. I don't want to be known for being anyone's girlfriend."
Even though their relationship didn't last long, it was still enough to make headlines, something Fox took issue with as she wanted to keep details of their romance private.
"It wasn't my idea for it to go public," she said. "If anything, I was like, 'We should wait,' and then boom, it was done behind my back. I realized pretty quickly I was being used as a pawn."
Following their split, Fox continued to focus on parenting her son Valentino, now 3, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Artemiev, explaining in her memoir how the toddler is her "grounding force."
"I really credit my son for being my grounding force," she said. "It was like, I can't go down this spiral because no man, no matter how rich or famous, is worth one minute away from my child."
