Sabrina Carpenter is praising her "gracious" pal Taylor Swift for her continued support as the young hitmaker continues to carve a path for herself in pop music.
During a recent chat with CBS Sunday Morning, the 25-year-old "Espresso" singer shared how she feels to have found a friend who understands what it's like in the industry and who can share their wisdom. Carpenter, who previously spoke about how "gangster" Swift is, was an opener for several stops on the 34-year-old Tortured Poets Department musician's Eras Tour, per People.
"You just watch her, like, walk in a room and it's very easy to understand that she's so composed, she's graceful, she's gracious," Carpenter gushed, adding that she is "grateful" for the support she has received from her famous friend. "I wouldn't say [Swift's advice is] like, a verbal thing as much as it's just, like, she's very supportive of me and knows who I am as a person and is very supportive of that. So I'm grateful for that."
Elsewhere in the CBS interview, Carpenter revealed the real reason why she enlisted the help of her rumored on-again, off-again boyfriend Barry Keoghan to star in the music video for her single "Please Please Please," from her latest album Short n' Sweet.
