Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour is on its way to making history. On Thursday (September 26), the band announced two more dates to its Wembley Stadium run in London next year, bumping the total number of nights to 10.

"Due to phenomenal demand in the presale, ninth and tenth Wembley Stadium shows have just been announced, for 7 & 8 September, 2025," reads a social media post. The added dates mean Coldplay will break the record for most dates played at the iconic venue. The record was previously eight nights, set by Take That in 2011. Taylor Swift tied that record during her Eras Tour over the summer. Coldplay previously played six nights at Wembley during the 2022 leg of their tour. See their message below.

The 2025 tour will be in support of Coldplay's upcoming album Moon Music, which is slated for an October 4 release. This will be the band's first album since 2021's Music of the Spheres, and it might be one of their last. In 2021, frontman Chris Martin divulged that he planned to stop putting out music with Coldplay in 2025. “Well I know I can tell you: our last proper record will come out in 2025 and after that I think we will only tour,” he said at the time. “Maybe we’ll do some collaborative things but the Coldplay catalogue, as it were, finishes then.”
