Duffer Brothers Confirm There Will Be A 'Stranger Things' Spinoff

Volume 2 of Stranger Things just released on July 1st and what a way to end the season! Season 5 of Stranger Things will be the last and final season but there is hope that we will be seeing more from this series.

According to ET, the Duffer Brothers announced that they are in fact working on a new, live-action spinoff series based on an original idea they came up with. They also emphasized that the series will be "1000% different" and will focus on the "storytelling sensibility" between the two series instead of the main characters.

“I’ve read these rumors that there’s gonna be an Eleven spinoff, that there’s gonna be a Steve and Dustin spinoff or that it’s another number,” the Duffer Brothers said on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast (via Variety). “That’s not interesting to me because we’ve done all that. We’ve spent I don’t know how many hours exploring all of that. So it’s very different.”

Aside from the spinoff series, the Duffer Brothers also launched a production company called, Upside Down Pictures, where they plan to have many new projects coming to Netflix. Check out the tweets below to see what other projects they are planning to release!
