Katya Echazarreta To Become First Mexican Woman To Go To Space

According to Cultura Movement, Katya Echazarreta will become the first Mexican woman to go to space!

Born in Jalisco Mexico, she came to the US at 7, & spent 5 years away from her parents & has worked at McDonald's to support her family. Now 26-year-old Katya Echazarreta will be part of the Blue Origin NS-21 mission and is part of the Citizen Astronaut Program and the first Mexican woman to go to space. She studied electrical engineering at UCLA and later a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering at Johns Hokpins University. Katya is also one of the hosts of the shows "Netflix IRL" and "Electric Kat" on YouTube where she conducts scientific validation of what we see on TV series. Katia spent four years working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory —she's been involved in five different space missions. Enhorabuena!
