Boyle Heights School Inspires 1st-Gen. Latino Students With 1st Career Day

Here is a great story for motivation Monday!

Dolores Mission School in Boyle Heights hosted their first Career Day this weekend for dozens of first-generation 8th graders and high school students within the community.

The students were able to listen to about 30 first-generation Latino college graduates and professionals who worked in various fields such as medicine, law, business, and engineering. The school wanted to throw this Career Day in hopes to inspire the students to see successful role models who look like them. Click here for more information.
