Gas has been going up like crazy and people are trying to think of what else they could do for transportation.
Luckily on Thursday, Democratic state lawmakers proposed a $400 gas rebate for every California taxpayer. According to Fox 11, the proposal would be using the $9 billion of the state's budget surplus to "cover the 51.1 cent per gallon gas tax for one full year of weekly fill ups of a car with a 15 gallon gas tank."
Every Californian will receive a rebate even if you don't drive a car under this proposal. Head to Fox 11 for more.
