Newsom Wants To Send Money To Help With High Gas Prices For Californians


Gas prices keep rising and Gov. Gavin Newsom wants to help by sending money to Californians due to the state's skyrocketing prices.

On Tuesday, Newsom proposed a tax rebate during the annual State of the State address. According to KTLA5, Newsom said, "Working with legislative leadership, I'll be submitting a proposal to put money back in the pockets of Californians to address rising gas prices."

Details of the proposal were limited but a spokesperson from Newsom's office said they are moving quickly on the billions in relief. In the mean time, click here to check out some of the lower gas prices around the L.A. area.
