LAUSD Superintendent To Relax Outdoor Mask Rules

Alberto Carvalho, the Los Angeles Unified School District's new superintendent, spoke with KTLA expressing that he wants to relax the outdoor masking rules for schools.

The superintendent plans to make the announcement later on Friday, where the new rules will be in effect early next week. COVID-19 numbers have declined all around and many counties have lifted the masking rules for those who are vaccinated. Masking indoors at schools still remain and are required by the county and state.
