Longest Partial Lunar Eclipse in Nearly 600 Years Will Be Visible on Friday

The longest partial lunar eclipse of the century will be visible this Friday!

You'll have to set an alarm because the partial lunar eclipse will peak at 1:03 a.m. PT. According to NASA, the lunar event will be visible across North America and in some areas of South America, eastern Australia, Polynesia, and northeastern Asia.

NASA forecasts that this partial lunar eclipse will last around 3 hours and 28 minutes.
