Last week, rumors swirled that Meghan Markle was courting Kate Middleton for a Netflix project. Fans of the duchesses were excited by the prospect of the pair teaming up again, however, palace sources firmly denied the reports to Page Six.
While palace sources may have denied that Kate is considering working on a documentary about her philanthropic efforts with Meghan, the palace itself has not officially commented on the rumors. Though it seems unlikely that Kate, who is still a working member of the Royal Family and the future Queen Consort, would be able to work on a Netflix project, some royal watchers are still holding out hope.
“Meghan and Kate are actually getting along really well and have been in touch more often,” the Us Weekly source told the outlet of the collaboration whispers. “Meghan has been talking to her about collaborating on a project for Netflix, a documentary that will spotlight Kate’s charity work and the huge impact she’s made with her philanthropy.”
Kate's primary focus with her philanthropy is early childhood development. Just last month the Duchess of Cambridge announced her plans to launch The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which will help raise awareness of the profound impact that our early years have on our lives.
Even if Kate is unable to team up with Meghan, the insider said “Kate is very flattered" by the prospect and it’s all "very positive between them."
