LAPD sent the above alert Saturday afternoon in response to the ongoing protest happening in Koreatown. It reads:
Demonstrator: An Unlawful Assembly was declared. Leave Wilshire & Rampart or be arrested. Immediately go Westbound Wilshire and disperse or you will be arrested. This is an Unlawful Assembly and the LAPD will arrest you if you do not leave the area immediately. LAPD
The protest that is taking place is outside of Wi Spa in Koreatown over transgender rights. More than a dozen people have been arrested, some have been pepper sprayed, and shot with rubber bullets. LGBTQ+ activists are protesting an incident that happened with a transgender woman.
