San Diego Zoo, Safari Park & Seaworld reopen after being closed for weeks!

Premiere Of Sea World San Diego's "Turtle: The Incredible Journey"

Things are starting to look up as San Diego Zoo, Safari Park & Seaworld reopen after being closed for weeks due to COVID-19. Capacity will be limited and same day entry will not be allowed. Park reservations will be required for everyone above the age of 2 years old.

The San Diego Zoo & Safari Park opened up on this past Saturday and their focus will be on all guests safety and health. Park Operations will resume in stages with outdoor dining and 25% retail capacity. Even though the parks may look different you will still get a fun and educational experience according to park staff.

The Guided Bus Tour, Kangaroo Bus and Skyfari Aerial Tram and the Safari Park's Africa Tram will all be unavailable until further notice.

Seaworld issued a statement and video regarding guests safety stating: "SeaWorld is committed to the health and safety of our guests, employees, and the animals in our care. We have worked diligently with state and local health officials, outside consultants and attraction industry leaders to enhance our already strict health, safety and cleanliness standards. These protocols and guidelines will be modified based on evolving industry standards and methodologies, public health and governmental directives, and advancing scientific knowledge on the transmissibility of COVID-19."
