I showed you all what I did to celebrate my birthday with my besties: the cutest picnic / surprise in the world!! (I literally have the best friends ever!)
But there's one thing I do every single year on my birthday that has become my birthday tradition — I write down on a piece of paper all the things that are no longer serving me.
For example, this year a couple of mine were:
*removing the words "I can't" and "not good enough" from my vocabulary.
*Not allowing my happiness to come from anyone outside myself
*Not allowing negative thoughts to overtake my positive spirit.
Then, I put them all in a tin can & light them on fire.
On the flip side of that, I create a list of goals and intentions.
My birthday is about halfway through the year so I check in with my vision board and really look at small changes/tweaks I can make to achieve more of my goals. I have found this tradition has really helped me refocus during the year and it just honestly feels really good to purge any negativity that's plaguing you!
Give it and try, even if it's not your birthday, any time of the year is a great time to start. Let me know if you try this out via social @TanyaRad
