Music has remained an unwavering constant that brings people together, and although the world has faced many difficult experiences throughout the coronavirus pandemic, iHeartMedia and Ally have come together for "iHeartRadio Concerts For the Community Presented by Ally." The three-part concert series continues on Monday, July 6th with Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Julia Michaels.
The virtual show will benefit United Way, an organization that fights for health, education, and financial stability for every person in every community, as well as Musicians On Call, which is the nation's leading provider of live music in hospitals, serving individuals in facilities ranging from children's hospitals to adult facilities, VA hospitals and hospices. And as part of the series, each performing artist will surprise caregivers across the country with a virtual meet & greet and performance as a token of appreciation for their dedication to helping others during this difficult time and beyond.
Fans can tune in to watch Julia Michaels perform during iHeartRadio Concerts For the Community Presented by Ally on Monday, July 6th at 8pm ET/5pm PT via iHeartRadio's YouTube Channel, Facebook Live and Instagram.
In addition to the remote concerts each week, iHeartMedia and Ally are honoring the healthcare heroes nationwide who have been sacrificing so much throughout the pandemic. Ally is funding the delivery of up to 5,000 virtual eCards to the selfless frontline workers across the country, and each card will feature an uplifting video from Musicians On Call's volunteer musicians.
In aiding United Way Worldwide, Ally is supporting several local United Way COVID-19 relief funds nationwide. And through its relationship with iHeartMedia, Ally is also helping to fund United Way's Invisible Problems campaign, which is newly launched to help identify and respond to unseen problems in communities that may be contributing to racial and economic inequalities.
