Japan's public broadcasting organization NHK shared a mind-boggling video of how easy it is for a virus like COVID-19 to spread in a buffet-style restaurant.
The video shows an experiment that essentially simulates the atmosphere at a buffet restaurant or on a cruise ship.
In the video you see 10 individuals entering a restaurant, with one person singled out as an "infected" person. The infected individual has a fluorescent substance applied to their hands which represented germs.
The individual then wanders around the restaurant unknowingly "spreading" the virus.
Towards the end of the video, all the individuals are exposed to a black light which displays how easily they were "infected.
