Starting Wednesday L.A. County Beaches Will Reopen For Active Use Only

The L.A. County Department of Beaches and Harbors announced that L.A. County beaches would reopen this Wednesday, but several restrictions will remain in place.

Beachgoers will be allowed to walk, run, swim, kayak and surf.

Activities like biking and beach volleyball will remain prohibited for the time being.

Additionally, people visiting L.A. County beaches will be required to wear face coverings when out of the water and around others.

Social distancing is also highly encouraged as beachgoers are asked to maintain six feet away from others.

If you're looking to sunbathe at the beach you'll also have to wait a little longer, because sunbathing and gathering on the beach will not be permitted.
