Michael Clifford Of 5SOS Talks New Album 'CALM', Being Quarantined & More

We may all be stuck at home but that's not stopping 5SOS from dropping a new album! Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds of Summer jumped on a Zoom interview with JoJo Wright to talk all about the new album, being quarantined and more.

Michael explains how the coronavirus pandemic changed the way they releasd their album "CALM":

It's insanely weird. I don't think we ever in our whole lives expected we'd be releasing an album under these conditions. So I think it's interesting because we're trying to adapt to it and trying to figure out how we can still feel connected to everyone who's listening. But we were meant to be across the world about three times by now. We were to be in four continents already having played acoustic shows and actual shows and now we're just sitting here hoping people are going to listen to the record. It's weird but it's just a necessity right now, it's kind of what we have to do

Michael also talked about how the title of the album came about, their latest single "Old Me", Ashton dropping off stuff at his house during quarantine, and what he's currently binge-watching at home.
