Hilary Duff Teases New Music From The Studio: See The Photo

Daily Pop - Season 2019

Hilary Duff is back in the studio!

Last night (December 14), the 32-year-old shared an image on Instagram of what seemed like the beginnings of new music in progress. In the photo, Duff appears in the studio with her headphones on and near a mic alongside her fiance Matthew Koma, who is also a recording artist. Captioned with only a microphone and headphones emoji, the lovebirds look like they're collaborating on something special.

Another music project would certainly be exciting news for Duff’s fans, who have yet to hear anything new from the “Come Clean” singer since she released her fifth studio album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., in 2015. At the time, the dance-pop record marked Duff’s first LP in seven years, generating singles like “Chasing the Sun,” “All About You,” and “Sparks.”

"New Lizzie theme song is COMING,” one user responded as a potential theory, which is a pretty good guess considering Duff previously confirmed her reprisal in Disney’s upcoming series reboot of Lizzie McGuire for Disney+. In its return, Lizzie, now 30, navigates life in New York as an apprentice to an interior designer and is engaged to a chef. As previously reported, the revival is going to be “completely different” from the original.

“I think it’s going to be a really good mix of giving everyone what they want from the show in the past, and also a new fresh show and her at 30, which looks completely different,” she told Us Weekly. “I feel so connected to her obviously from the past, so it’s been really fun to be a part of the whole creative process as well.”
