Normani's Outfit Steals the Show at 2019 KIIS Jingle Ball

Normani took to the 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One stage with an iconic performance and an even more iconic outfit. Her all white bedazzled ensemble nearly stole the entire show. The recent breakout artist performed all of her top hits including Motivation, Checklist, Waves, Love Lies.

The fully choreographed performance had viewers on edge watching as a group of dancers twirled around Normani with moves electric enough to want to practice at home.

Normani is basking in her freedom these days as the Motivation singer recently graced the latest issue of The Fader. The article, titled Normani's True Self, exposed the emotional impact of Fifth Harmony on the artist and how being in the band limited her creatively.

"I don't feel like while I was in the group anyone saw the truest version of me,” she told The Fader. “I wasn't allowed the opportunity to showcase that. I'm not able to go in in the way that I want to [because] of what the group was."

The feeling was mutual amongst the group, who felt that their performance capabilities weren't reaching their full potential.

“We would be like, 'Yo, we want to write it, we want to contribute, we have perspective. We're not just girls that you put in a girl group.'”

However, now Normani has come into her own and is owning every second of it as she travels the journey of understand more of who she is.

"I’m doing this as therapy for me,” she said. “To be able to get to know myself in a way that hasn't even been revealed yet, to be vulnerable in a way that I haven't been before. I want this to be like a diary of all women — to reflect and showcase the many layers of us. We're not one-dimensional."
