Halsey Says 2018 Was the Hardest Year of Her Life at KIIS Jingle Ball

Halsey hit the 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One stage introduced by On Air with Ryan Seacrest host, Sisanie.

The electric artist came out with an eclectic ensemble made up of colorful bandana parachute pants and a white tie-up top. She completely owned the stage all alone with her powerful voice filling up the space.

"It’s been a long time since I played a show in la and it feels really good," she introduced.

This wasn’t her first performance of the night. Halsey helped to open up the Jingle Ball night alongside K-pop sensation, BTS, performing their latest hit, Boy With Luv.

“I feel very very lucky and proud to know those guys. They are incredible.”

Thankfulness went all around tonight, as Halsey expressed her gratitude over being on the stage.

“Don’t let me get on this stage cus I’ll never want to leave," she opened up to the crowd expressing her comfortability on the platform.

The fact that she can share the stage with a variety of talented acts was a humbling moment for her. “That’s the thing about jingle ball it is single handedly one of the best concerts”

Before performing her smash hit, Without Me, Halsey shared some sentimental insight into her past two years.

"2018 was one of the hardest years of my life. But 2019 has been one of the absolute best."

“I had to make a lot of mistakes, a lot of mistakes. You guys know it’s all over the media.

2019 is almost over, I’m really thankful."

In addition, Halsey performed Bad at Love, Eastside, and Graveyard.

Halsey not only looked like a winner tonight at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball, she totally was one! The “Without Me” singer hit The Forum fresh off of grabbing an American Music Awards trophy in the ‘Favorite Song - Pop/Rock’ category on November 24th. The “Bad At Love” songstress also recently made headlines for slamming the paparazzi’s predatory behavior towards taking her photos in public. On Instagram she called out invasive photogs hiding in her bushes, chasing her car and more. The Without Me singer posted her disappointment with independent photographers stating that their actions would lead anyone to being “creeped out”.

"What's crazy to me, is if a guy camped outside your house and hid in a bush and took photos of you with a long lense camera every single day, without you knowing, you would be so creeped out and scared you would call the police and say you're being harassed.”

Halsey refers to a time that paparazzi may have chased her “violently” through her traffic to keep tabs on her.

"ESPECIALLY if they chased you in their car violently through traffic and followed you places like the doctor's or your parent's house. SMH," she posted.

"But when you're famous it's just like 'LOL YOU ASKED FOR THIS!!!!.’”
