Next Up Artist of the Week: New Hope Club

Meet our first Next Up Artists of the Week of 2019 - New Hope Club! Blake Richardson, George Smith and Reece Bibby make up the British pop trio formed officially in 2018 when Bibby joined Smith and Richardson after competing on The X Factor UK. According to the band's official Hollywood Records bio:

'Right away we realized there was something special with the three of us,' recalls Blake. 'We were jamming in George’s living room, playing Oasis songs and all that, and we just clicked in a really amazing way. We started writing together that weekend, and everything took off from there.'

The boys name legendary groups The Beatles and Oasis as their musical inspirations and settled on the name 'New Hope Club' because they "liked the idea of other people joining in...we want the band to feel like something anyone can be a part of."

Watch below as the guys chat with KIIS FM's EJ about some of their scrapped band names, how they like to drink English tea and more!

New Hope Club also performed acoustic versions of 'Medicine' and 'Crazy' along with a cover of The Beatles' 'I Saw Her Standing There.' Watch below!
