Dua Lipa stopped by the Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge at KIIS FM's 2018 Jingle Ball Presented By Capital One and spilled some secrets during her interview with JoJo Wright, Sisanie, and Jesse Lozano.
When asked about her plans for the holidays, Dua Lipa is putting on the apron and cooking the entire Christmas Dinner. How do we get an invite to this? She's missing home right about now and is super excited to head back to London and "disconnect" while hanging with her family. We're hoping we can see photos of this special dinner, because when Dua disconnects - she's out! She once deleted everything for two weeks.
"I literally deleted my social media for two weeks...I didn't even take pictures on my phone. I took pictures on a film camera so I wouldn't have to look at my phone."
If that's not dedication to disconnecting then I don't know what is.
"I started getting worried because it's on film, I was like I don't even know if these pictures are going to come up. Then I just won't have any memories!" She said that each photo taken on her film camera was very special, because more thought goes into making sure you capture the perfect moment.
Dua spilled a random (and very talented) fact about herself too. Apparently, she has the skills to leave a party at the exact right time. Knowing when the fun ends and when it's time to get home to bed and wake up on time for work is a skill many of us lack. Disciplined Dua! Can we make that a hashtag?
When asked about her plans for next year, Dua says we can expect new music to hit the scene.
"I've been working in the studio all the time. I'm waiting for this album, this campaign to finish. Then I'll take that Christmas break and then just start preparing all the new music. Come back and make my fans proud."
Dua Lipa is set to perform at the KIIS FM's 2018 Jingle Ball Presented by Capital One which features performances from Monsta X as well as Shawn Mendes, Cardi B, Calvin Harris, Camila Cabello, Khalid with special guest Normani, Bazzi, G-Eazy, Alessia Cara, and Bebe Rexha.
