With all the fires that are happening right now It got me thinking am I prepared at home just incase of disaster and No I am not and as soon as I get home I am going to prepare myself and my pets just incase . I got a list together to help guide you on the most important things that you will need cause when stuff hits the fan and you need to flee your home being organized is the best way to protect your home and family. Have Copies of important papers , keep them in plastic waterproof case this is very important because you may need to prove who you are and that you own property:

  • Your driver’s license.
  • The deed to your house.
  • Proof of insurance.
  • Medical records.
  • Passports.
  • Social security cards.
  • A list of personal contacts.
  • Flash lights with extra batteries
  • Personal hygiene kit
  • Prescription medication 

Safeguard pets. Make sure they’re micro-chipped and have I.D. collars. Create pet grab-and-go kits & three days worth of food and water.
