Happy Birthday Adam Sandler!

As one of America’s most known comedian turns 51 this year, we look back on Adam Sandler’s career and remember the times he made America laugh- or laugh at him.

1990- Shortly after his appearance on The Cosby Show, Sandler was on SNL from 1990-1995 where he befriended Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade

1998- Fast forward ten years and Sandler is staring in ‘The Wedding Singer,” where he’s, you guessed it, a wedding singer. He meets the love of his life, and when she breaks up with him he sings this dandy little tune at one of the weddings he’s hired for

1999- Sandler takes on a more serious role in the film, “Big Daddy,” where he learns he’s a father when his five year old son shows up on his doorstep. Adapting to fatherhood, Sandler grows as a character and goes from a loser to a guy who knows how to talk to kids

2004- Let us not forget the iconic romantic comedy that is 50 First Dates. Sandler meets and falls in love with Drew Barrymore, only to learn that she has short term memory loss that only lets her remember the events of that day, and not able to process new ones. That doesn’t stop him trying to make her fall in love with him everyday..even if he's not the best looking guy around. Its the thought that counts.

2010- Fun Fact: Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 brought in over 300 million dollars to the Box Office. It also brought life to the term, ‘chocolate wasted.”

So thank you Adam Sandler for the many years of laughter, hilarious movies, and this GIF that can perfectly apply to any situation.
