EW! This is just gross!
Barbara Evelyn Marie from New York was drinking her coconut water when she swallowed a "clump" of something funky. When she decided to cut open the Vita Coco Pure Coconut Water, it looked to be like "rotting squid". YUCK!
People have speculated that it looks like remains from a squid, mouse, etc... Either way, that looks super freaky and I would not want to see that in my drink!
A spokesperson for Vita Coco said: "Vita Coco employs the highest standards of food safety at all its production facilities and our beverages are quality- and food safety-tested internally, and also by an external quality control specialist, before being distributed."
No matter what it turns out to be, whether the company is at fault or not, it's always good to be careful when drinking out of a bottle you can't see into!
