Uber announced the launch of it's Cross Street safety measures this week. The update now lets you put in cross streets instead of an actual address. If you feel weird about giving strangers your address when you call for an Uber then this is a HUGE change. It's an extra step to help riders keep their privacy. With the update, riders can now give two cross streets instead of typing in a specific address. This is a great safety feature so now riders don't have to give their home address to strangers.
Expect the update in the next few weeks, and make sure to keep your Uber app updated.
