Well I think it's safe to say Los Angeles is really obsessed with La La Land. Rightfully so since LA is the setting for the Oscar award winning film.

So, on Wednesday Mayor Eric Garcetti declared April 25th as La La Land Day! The dedication ceremony will take place that day at 8:30am on the steps of LA City Hall. There will a jazz band performing at the ceremony and aerial dancers that will perform a dance medley inspired by the film.

The film's director Damien Chazelle, composer Justin Hurwitz, production designers David and Sandy Wasco, choreographer Mandy Moore, and jewelry designer Kyle Chan will all be in attendance.

La La Land will be released on DVD and Blue-ray on April 25th as well!
