Well, word's out! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are expecting their first child together after eloping in 2008 (and then having a more traditional wedding in 2009). Congratulations are certainly in order for the couple!
The couple announced their pregnancy on the cover of the April 24th issue of Us Weekly.
In the mag, Heidi and Spencer talked about their wait to be ready for a baby.
Spencer says: "Heidi has wanted to be a mom since the day I met her... She has planned for and thought about this."
For Heidi, this has been a long time coming, for sure. But she is thankful they took their time:
"I wanted a baby three years ago. Spencer was a little hesitant... Then one thing after another came up. We had work obligations... I'm actually really thankful we waited. I thought I was ready in my 20s, but with everything we had going on, it just wouldn't have been a good situation for us.
What's even more crazy is that SEVERAL other The Hills stars are also expecting.

LC's ex boyfriend Jason Wahler and his wife Ashley are expecting... and they found out about the pregnancy on New Year's Day which is the same day LC announced her pregnancy (awkward)
