Girl Scout Cookies Ranked From Most To Least Healthy

Ah, Girl Scout Cookie season... one of the best times of the year.

But do you ever take a moment to realize just how bad the cookies are for you? I mean, it's a little concerning. So if you don't want to know where you cookie falls in the ranking of bad to more bad, just stop reading this now.

Okay are you ready.

The MOST healthy Girl Scout Cookie:

Shortbread aka Trefoils  - this is not super surprising as the most healthy (or least unhealthy?) cookie. There aren't any of those extra goodies, so you're not royally ruining your diet with these.

Trios - I don't know if I have ever had these... but they're a chocolate chip, peanut butter and oatmeal cookie combo that sounds super delish. But again, that oatmeal is keeping the really bad stuff away.

Do-si-dos aka Peanut Butter Sandwich - with a combo of peanut butter and oats, you're pretty solid with this choice.

Toffee-tastic - again, not sure I've had this one before? I mean probably at some point, but it falls in the middle level of bad bad bad.

Peanut Butter Patties aka Tagalongs - can we all calm down about these double names? Why do you do this Girl Scout Cookie makers?! Anyway, these are SO GOOD. But watch how many you're eating at once, I guess.

Savannah Smiles - wow, getting creative with these names, huh? These are a lemon zest cookie. But these ones contain four different kinds of sugar so I'm just going to leave it at that on the health scale.

Lemonades - hey! These are vegan-friendly! But they also don't contain any lemon juice as an ingredient at all. Soooo be careful. 

Thanks-a-Lot - again, Girl Scouts, with those names! This is another vegan cookie, this time a shortbread-like cookie dipped in chocolate. And it's super not good for you, so there's that.

Thin Mints - HEYYYYY its everyone's favorite cookie! And there's just so much sugar and calories in each of the babies but like whatever. They're still good. DIP THEM IN YOUR COFFEE I DARE YOU.

Caramel Delights aka Samoas - also ANOTHER FAVORITE. So good. Am I happy to see it toward the bottom of the list? Not at all. But you already knew these couldn't be good for you with the coconut and the caramel and the chocolate, right?

And last but certainly not least (in calories)....

Girl Scout S'mores - just don't even try to be healthy with these, it's okay. Take moment to really enjoy the calories. There's even two different kinds of this cookie and they're both just bad for you. But it's about the experience right?

I hope I didn't ruin your morning with this information. Now I'm going to go for a run so I can enjoy some cookies later, huh?
