On Monday Starbucks announced that they would be serving two new specialty drinks made from coffee beans aged in none other than- WHISKEY BARRELS!
The two new specialty drinks are— a cold brew that starts with a slow-steeped Whiskey Barrel Aged Sulawesi that's sweetened with vanilla and served as a sidecar— and a hot beverage "con crema" that features a "hot pour-over of Whiskey Barrel-Aged Sulawesi mixed with barrel-aged vanilla syrup, topped with cascara sugar cold-foam topping."
The downside is that these specialty drinks are currently only available at their Roastery store in Seattle.
