The Backstreet Boys have spent twenty-four years on the road together, and there's still nothing stopping them. On opening night at the Planet Hollywood AXIS arena, the quintet boy band performed a twenty song setlist filled with energetic fan favorites alongside full choreography, live vocals, dress changes, and even pyrotechnics. With tunes like "Quit Playing Games With My Heart", "I Want It That Way", "Larger Than Life", and "As Long As Your Love Me", the show is a complete trip down memory lane.
During the afterparty at Chateau nightclub at the Paris hotel, AJ McLean, one of the members of the boy band, announced, "We are here to stay." Though the show only has residency at Planet Hollywood for 26 days, the boys are looking toward the future. Besides hinting at wanting to extend their residency time, the Backstreet Boys are also working on a new album which will be followed by a worldwide tour. McLean closed his nightclub announcement saying, "I want to personally thank Nick, Howie, Kevin and Brian, my brothers for 24 years. Here's to 24 more."
