We've told you before how Los Angeles has been ranked the WORST city in the US as far as traffic. Which obviously came as no surprise. But, have you ever wondered how LA traffic stacks up compared to the rest of the planet?
Well, Los Angeles beat 1,064 global cities taking that top spot for the worst traffic. The annual Global Traffic Scorecard reported that Los Angeles drivers spent 104 hours last year in traffic. That equals four days and eight hours just sitting in your car in traffic! UGH.
If you're looking to escape the traffic don't even consider these cities. Moscow, Russia came in second - drivers sat in 94 hours of congested traffic. While New York came in third - drivers there sat in 89 hours of traffic.
Best place for little traffic? Gioia del Colle, Italy! There drivers only sat in 2 hours worth of traffic in 2016. Interesting.
