Kris Jenner is one busy woman!
The reality star and mom of six has just released her brand new cookbook, In the Kitchen With Kris, and she called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday morning to dish on her favorite recipes, as well as her famous family.
“I love the pasta primavera because it feeds a whole bunch of people and it’s great for family style and it’s beautiful when you put it on the table,” she explains. “It’s stuff I’ve been making literally since I was a teenager. I got married really young and had Kourtney really young, and stated making a whole bunch of different dishes. I went to cooking school and then every family member as everybody got older started pointing out their favorites. So this is a compilation of everything I love to cook for everyone and everyone’s favorite things I make.”
While Ryan and Ellen had Kris on the phone, of course they had to ask about her headline-grabbing family. Up first: Kylie, 17, who is rumored to be dating rapper Tyga.
“Kylie isn’t dating anybody,” she insists. “This whole little group of kids who have been around forever, and I call them kids because relatively speaking, they kind of all travel as a pack and they enjoy each other’s company. We all live in the same neighborhood. [Tyga] used to live across the street for a long time, and now he lives next door to Khloe. Everyone’s always around and with the way I cook, they’re not leaving.”
As for her older children, Kim (along with husband Kanye West and daughter North) lives with Kris, and “Khloe and Kourtney just moved in up the street, so we have all of us … us four and Scott and all the kids are in the same neighborhood, which is really wonderful because all the cousins get to grow up together. Little Miss Kendall moved across town, Kylie lives upstairs, Rob lives with Khloe. So I’ve kind of got tabs on it right now.”
Of course, there have also been reports that her ex-husband, Bruce Jenner, recently started dating her best friend of more than two decades, Ronda Kamihira.
“I have no idea what Bruce does in his personal time,” Kris says about that story. “We’ve been apart for a long time. He is the greatest guy, a wonderful dad, and him and I are good friends. … Everybody is very happy. I know I’m in a really good place. And I hope he is too. I hope he’s doing his thing and having a good time.”
And finally, Kris addressed the notion that she is going to start managing Selena Gomez‘s career. “No, I would love to … she kind of fits right in with her beautiful dark hair and that gorgeous face. I love her. I think she’s an amazing talent. She’s a triple threat for sure, but no, I’m not managing her.”
In the Kitchen With Kris is available in stores now! She will be signing copies of her cookbook at Barnes and Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 28, at 7 p.m.
