Southern California Hike-A-Thon:
Discover, Connect, & Protect

In its third year, the Hike-A-Thon is more than a fundraising
event—it is a fun-filled day for families with kids and those who like to hike. NatureBridge educators are on the trail, providing hands-on environmental educational experiences. The event features campfire-style music and
kid-friendly activities.

 American Lung Association - Fighting For Air

The American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through Education, Advocacy and Research. With the generous support of the public, we are "Fighting for Air." When you join the American Lung Association in the fight for healthy lungs and healthy air, you help save lives today and keep America healthy tomorrow.

Fight For Air Walk is a three mile walk (5K) around beautiful parks in California. Attracting people of all ages, Fight For Air Walk gives you the power to improve the air we breathe. Participate as an individual or create a team of friends, family members, and co-workers. 

Walk with us to help children suffering from asthma, fund research that may lead to a cure for lung cancer, help those battling chronic lung diseases, and to protect your family from the harmful effects of air pollution and secondhand smoke.

HOPE is an advocacy organization whose platform promotes opportunities that advance Latinas.  From this broad platform HOPE has selected key issue areas on which to focus: Education, Health Care and Economic Empowerment.  HOPE engages in policy work that directly leads to outcomes in healthcare, education, economic development, and civil participation.

Latina History Day

The Latina History Day Conference, for which Latina History Day in California was created, draws over 900 women to celebrate the historic accomplishments of Latinas and presents workshops on career development, community issues, and financial empowerment. Cornerstones of the conference include inspiring keynote speakers and the Comadre Network & Exhibit Area where conference participants are invited to an afternoon of networking with California’s most successful Latinas.
