NASA has released a new map that shows where people are most likely to die from air pollution.
According to a new atmospheric pollution model designed by a scientist at the University of North Carolina, more than 2 million people die every year from pollution caused by car exhaust and industrial sources.
NASA plugged the information into a map of the world and it shows where the problem is the worst. Not surprisingly, it's in heavily industrialized areas with lower air quality standards, like eastern Europe, India and Asia.
But the map also shows some positive trends with air quality improvement, like the southeastern US and mid South America.
