Pop-up ads are coming to your car.

BMW has announced a partnership with SAP, an international software manufacturer, and according to the press release, they're developing "solutions for context-adaptive, personalized filtering of large volumes of real-time offers." That's marketing speak for "get ready for in-car ads."

These will be personalized ads based on your current location that will show up in BMW's iDrive in-car display system.

Might not be all bad -- if you're feeling hungry on the road it might show you an ad for a fast food drive thru just 5 miles up ahead.
