GORMAN, Calif. (AP) — Interstate 5 traffic heading north from Los Angeles to the San JoaquinValley has been blocked by a wreck at Gorman.

The Los Angeles Times reports three trucks collided early Tuesday and metal beams were hurled across the highway, seriously injuring one driver.

California Highway Patrol Officer Scott Jobinger says traffic is being diverted off I-5 at State Route 138 and through Gorman to bypass the closure.
